Gaston Outside's Restaurant & Retail Week 2019 - Business Participation Form

October 6 - 13

GO MONTH is a month-long celebration of all that Gaston has to offer the Charlotte region. Each week of October represents a different theme. 

Restaurant & Retail Week is the second week of October and is organized to drive customers to experience Gaston County's wide array of restaurants and shopping options. 

Gaston Outside will promote the major elements of this GO Month campaign. We organize this effort every year to provide great exposure to the region of our county's great businesses.

Submissions Due: September 6th. We will accept submissions after September 6th on a rolling basis, if possible.

How to participate:

  1. Offer a special deal during Oct. 6 - 13 (details on specials listed below). 

  2. Contribute $100 in gift cards to participate. Those contributions go directly to generating additional interest in Restaurant & Retail Week through daily giveaways and more foot traffic.

  3. Actively market your participation prior to and during Restaurant & Retail Week (Oct. 6 - 13). Gaston Outside will provide digital and physical marketing assets.


When: October 6 - 13 (Week two of GO Month 2019). Forms must be completed by September 6th. After September 6th, we will accept submissions on a rolling basis, if possible. 

Why: To drive customers to EAT, SHOP, and EXPERIENCE Gaston County during this week and beyond. As an example, Sammy's Pub reported a 30% increase in sales for the week by participating in 2018's Restaurant & Retail Week. We hope other participants will enjoy successes like this with their active participation in 2019's Restaurant & Retail Week.
