Seven seasonal brews to try from Gaston’s four breweries

The weather outside is frightful, but a good stout is so delightful. What better way to celebrate the holidays than to enjoy some seasonal brews from your local breweries? Lucky for us, Gaston’s four breweries are on it, so there’s no shortage of great choices. Here are seven holiday brews available right now.

Rivermen Brewing Company:

Pumpkin Ale  ー This American classic features the creaminess of pumpkin and the nuttiness of malt in one flavorful beer.

Milltown Winter Ale ー Drawing inspiration from Gaston’s milltown heritage, the winter ale balances its sweet head with a clean hoppy finish.

Cavendish Brewing Company:

Time Keeper Biere de Garde ー The Time Keeper is returning this year by demand. Expect a heavy stone fruit flavor with light sweetness.

Boilerman Imperial Stout –  This is a roasty, creamy, high gravity drink which requires commitment.  Made with rye, chocolate malts, oats, lactose, and whole vanilla beans.

York Chester Brewing Company:

La Oscuridad Mexican Stout (The Darkness) ─ This Mexican cake stout features sweet creamy notes, a touch of cinnamon, and a classic fire-roasted flavor.

Ole Dallas Brewery:

Pumpkin IPA ─ Imagine a pumpkin pie but with some bitters thrown into the mix. That’s exactly what you get with this IPA that combines cinnamon and nutmeg with hops.

Vanilla Blueberry Porter ─ Made with locally grown blueberries from Lineberger Farms, this American Porter tastes as good as it sounds.
