The Fourth of July is just around the corner and it’s time to start planning where to see fireworks. This year's festivities will be sure to draw crowds, making each event fun and exciting. Make your plans and arrive early to get a great spot to take in the festivities.

Mount Holly Fireworks Festival

Cherryville’s Independence Day Celebration

6 p.m.-10 p.m.

Main Street, Cherryville

Celebrate Independence day and explore downtown Cherryville. Festivities include:

Saturday, July 3

Red, White and Belmont

Saturday, July 3, 2 p.m.-10:30 p.m.

South Main Street, Belmont

Bring a chair and set up in downtown Belmont for music, food trucks, local vendors, small businesses and, of course, a fireworks display.

Cramerton Independence Day Celebration

6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Centennial Center, 100 Center St., Cramerton

Downtown Cramerton has the perfect on-the-water spot for fireworks viewing. This year's festivities include:

Kings Mountain’s Red White and Boom

6:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Patriots Park, 220 South Railroad Ave., Kings Mountain

Deal Walking Track, 211 North Cleveland Ave., Kings Mountain

Kings Mountain is presenting two events in one—a laser show and fireworks! Guests can expect:

Patriots Park

  • Food trucks and inflatables

  • 6 p.m.— ACE Party Band

  • 9:30 p.m.— Laser Show (sync to 101.1 FM)

Deal Walking Track

  • 9:45 p.m.— Fireworks

U.S. Whitewater Center Fourth of July Celebration

5000 Whitewater Center Pkwy., Charlotte

Both days will feature free yoga classes as well as recreational activities with the purchase of a pass.

City of Dallas 4th of July Celebration

6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Cloninger Park, South Oakland Street, Dallas

Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy music in downtown Dallas, along with a fireworks display. Guests can look forward to:

City of Gastonia Fourth of July Celebration

4 p.m.-9:30 p.m.

Rotary Centennial Pavilion, 107 N. South St. Gastonia

The festivities will feature two bands, as well as local vendors and food trucks. For the kids, there will be balloon twisting and glitter tattoos. a local brew from the beer garden featuring Cavendish Brewery and Durty Bull Brewing Company.
