Growing in Gaston: 4 Coworking Spaces to Get Stuff Done
Updated: Feb 10
Technology has changed the way people work. High-speed internet, cloud data storage, and virtual meeting apps have diminished the need for centralized clusters of workers.
The untethering of employees from large corporate hubs has created a growing population of start-up entrepreneurs, remote workers, and freelancers.
Gaston County, with its proximity to the airport, growing infrastructure (like gigabit internet connectivity), and a fantastic quality of life is well-positioned to support this new, agile workforce.
Entrepreneurial and remote work doesn’t always happen in a home office or garage, despite what the stereotype may suggest. Sometimes there is a need for professional meeting space, office amenities, or just an energetic, collaborative atmosphere that can’t happen at the dining room table.
When you just require an internet connection and a great latte, one of Gaston’s amazing coffee shops will do just fine. When something more is needed, coworking spaces are a great option.
With beautiful interiors, networking opportunities, fully stocked cafes, and endless coffee (and sometimes beer and wine!), these spaces are meeting the needs of Gaston’s growing creative entrepreneurial and remote workforce.
Here are four existing, or coming soon, coworking spaces in Gaston County that will help you level-up your productivity.
